Santiago Christian School is a private English speaking Christian school located in Santiago, Dominican Republic. With a student body of over 650 students, we seek teachers who would like the opportunity to work with us in shaping the hearts and minds of our students. Positions Open for the 2015-16 school year:

Campus Chaplain/Pastor position is currently open. This administrative position is a terrific opportunity to provide spiritual leadership and guidance for teachers and students at all levels. This individual must be a self-starter and have a passion for serving others as a leader, loving them, and leading them to follow Jesus. The Coordinator must be flexible, creative, and love meeting the Spiritual needs of the teachers / students. Some Spanish and/or educational background is helpful.

Elementary Teacher needed at the K-5 level. The successful candidate should have an understanding and/or experience with ESL/ELL immersion strategies in the classroom. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful. Position requires an Education degree, background in Christian Education, and Licensure. Two years experience preferred and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Initial commitment term for this faculty position is two years.

Elementary Special Education Teacher needed at the K-5 level.  The successful candidate for this faculty position should have specialized training and/or certification in Special Education.  Requires the ability to conduct and interpret standardized assessments, write evaluation reports and education plans for individual students.  Candidate should be a team player who can collaborate and co-teach and work with individuals and small groups on various academic and social strategies.  Strong organization, time management and communication skills are also necessary. Position requires an Education degree, background in Christian Education, and Licensure. Basic understanding of Spanish is helpful. Two years’ experience preferred and previous international teaching experience is a plus. Initial commitment term is two years

High School Math Teacher needed who loves students and their challenges and will serve as a positive influence and leader in our school program. This faculty position requires a Bachelor’s degree, licensure, and agreement with the school’s statement of faith and lifestyle statement.  A background in Christian education and at least two years of teaching experience are preferred. An elementary understanding of Spanish is extremely helpful.  An initial commitment of two years is required.

Spanish Teacher needed who loves students and their challenges and will serve as a positive influence and leader in our school program. This faculty position requires a Bachelor’s degree, licensure, and agreement with the school’s statement of faith and lifestyle statement.  A background in Christian education and at least two years of teaching experience are preferred. An initial commitment of two years is required.
